Their team sucks and their fans are children so everyone overreacted when he didn’t shoot down reports of everyone not rowing in unison after a tough loss. He’s a bit emotional perhaps but real good player. I’d take him.
So he is a truth speaker. My kinda guy.

Imma stop posting awhile and wish y’all the best of luck.

however I have one final proposal:

Tarasenko to San Jose for

Evander Kane 33% retained and their 2nd in 2022 and 2023.

I’ll see myself out now.

cheers :)

Don't want Kane anywhere near this team. And I can't see DA wanting that either. Easy Pass.

from hockeyOps side - a 30 goal scorer at 4.5 mil is better than a 30-goal goal scorer at 7.5.

Brett Hull was evicted from Calgary for being a locker room cancer.

Well, even if it's not proven yet, something tells me our players aren't going to roll out the red carpet for a guy who has rumors surrounding him of betting on his own games and being a total douchebag in general even if he's a really good player.

Only reason I can see a team trading for him is if the Sharks are going to retain heavily on him and add a bribe in the form of a pick or good prospect while his new team will bury him in the AHL (hence him being waived).

f*** no, wouldn't touch Kane with a 39 and a half foot pole.

I’d be down (if Sharks retained AND paid futures), but I’m an idiot.

I do personally believe the acquiring team may make the deal of the generation, similar to how the Penguins got a a dump truck of goals and a Conn Smythe out of Phil Kessel while Toronto paid a chunk of his salary. I believe many will look back at this and have different opinions later.

still I’ll retire my trade proposals until deadline time to save you all headaches.

reminder Doug Armstrong signed Mike Hoffman who had been accused of motivating his wife to post that Erik Karlsson’s wife was a pill addict and celebrated a still born.

just saying character != on ice value

Yeah, and if we’re gonna bring this stupid shit up again, there was NEVER any proof that she did it. It went to court and got dismissed.

Also FWIW, while we’re on this subject, I met a guy while out getting food/drinks very recently. He was from the Bay, and showed me pictures of him hanging out at Couture’s house with Logan and some of the other Sharks players. From what he said, Kane and Karlsson are by far the two most hated players in that locker room, and that Logan could not stand either of them.

Cool insight thanks.

No problem! Also I will apologize for the first part of that post being aggressive. There was just so much baseless “cancer” talk about Hoffman when we signed him, and it just became unbearable to see/read anymore.

I get what you’re saying entirely.

For future reference I have no problem with you having a strong opinion and crapping on mine if it’s valid. I’ll never be mad about that. In fact I’ll probably enjoy it.

Respect !! I just know my wires can cross from time to time on here, but more often than not, I’ll be like “hey they didn’t deserve this”

The Russians have been dominate and even carried this team at times. DA should double down on the Russians and trade for Zadorov or Sergachev to improve the left side.

Come off-season trade O'Reilly+ for Matthew Tkachuk and make Tarasenko the captain.

Making Tarasenko captain definitely gave me a good laugh. Thanks for that.

If the futures are their next two firsts unprotected, likely top 10 picks, it’d at least give me pause to consider.
