All my sens friends are telling me Gonchar is 'so good' but I honestly don't see how, the dude is washed up I find. He played well tonight though I'll give him that...he was injured in Dallas so I guess we'll know what state he's in after a few more games

i'm going to suggest your sens friends are not the brightest. gonchar is not good. useless in the playoffs. so if you want any real success for your team you don't want gonchar. i'm guessing markov is pretty happy though.

Anyone else hoping we don't play the Ducks while they have the mumps going thru their dressing room?

This is why you get vaccinated, and especially if you want kids some day remember to get your adult booster.

Seriously, mumps shouldn't be an issue to anyone.

I agree, I think he was pretty much done once he left the sens. I hope he proves me wrong but I'm not too hopefully, maybe if he gets limited minutes on ES he will excel.

Gordie Howe is recovering nicely from his stroke according to his son, Dr. Murray Howe.

Matthew Sekeres @mattsekeres
Murray Howe tells us that Gordie's physical therapist hasn't seen a recovery this good by an 86-year-old stroke sufferer in 35 years.

Matthew Sekeres @mattsekeres
Murray says his father's personality and sense of humour are in tact, and he hopes that one day Gordie can return to public appearances.

Gonchar was never that good here, but the Sens absolutely had perfect timing in regards to that contract. He's definitely on his last legs now.

He was good 2-3 years ago but at some point, you get "old"... look at Alfie. Gonchar can still be serviceable on the 3rd pairing with limited minutes. Not a bad move for them, some calming veteran presence. It costs some money but well, not a problem for the Habs. It helps when you have money

Sabres are playing in their home building and its 60% Leaf fans. Their response? Humiliate the Leafs and just shame their fans.

Wish our team would do that at home against the Leafs...

Montreal, 1st in the league, differential +1 wow lol

They got blown out in some of their very rare losses. Accounts for that plus the poor powerplay and difficulty generating offense which seems to have remedied itself, as a few days ago they had a differential of like -7. And now they're a plus 5.

Once they get everything rolling, which appears to be the case...just scary.

Wasn't it Nichuskin that Ottawa was asking for instead of Chiasson for Spezza? Dude's having hip surgery and will be out for a while
