Yeah, gotta give Mtl credit, they've righted the ship after a few bad outings. They deserve to be first in the east. Only problem is I now have to listen to everyone in Montreal tell me about it.

Gonchar wasn't bad today...his pairing was directly responsible for one of the goals though but if he can put up a couple points for every defensive zone **** up then I can live with him

AND I get to strike up a conversation with every person I see in a sens jersey and remind them of that ;)

Meh

Still not impressed with them

They are getting the bounces and the calls (the third goal against Philly would have never counted if it was on Price)

yep, Montreal is much much closer to pretender than contender. Only way they sneak past the first round is to meet Boston again or run into another team with no #1 goalie.

They are playing great, Sens fans just need to suck it up. Montreal has done a pretty good job of contending and have a legitimate shot at taking the Eastern conference. I don't participate in this whole fan hating other teams bullcrap that is so prevalent on HFboards, so I have no problem giving Montreal credit for playing well.

It's +5 man

Ah oui man?

Hey you know what man?

4 shootouts win = +4

5-4=1

Pretty basic when it comes to reading the standings. Shootouts have been implemented like almost 10 years ago... Obviously about the differential in the regular game. I would have said +5 if I wasn't

All my friends that are Habs fans (there's too many of them) were furious about how much price had to bail them out this season. Like us. They need to work to sustain it over the full season. Haven't watched last few games though.

At least the Sens are not the only team to give up a 3 goal lead.

The Wild just did.

People say the Sens suck, but take a look at the Stars.

Dallas should have used their assets to acquire a defenseman instead of using them to acquire Spezza.

I also doubt that Spezza will re-sign with the Stars.

Agreed. If he wanted in for the long haul in Dallas I think a deal would be done by now.

Tu sais quoi, man, you need to accept that Montreal is a good team this season. Sure, they've had luck on their side, but they've won squarely quite a few times as well, including tonight, where they made the Wings look very average.

That rough patch where they lost badly two or three times skewed the stats. You just have to watch the games themselves and you notice how well they are playing as a team, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like them. Ans whether we like the shootout or not, it's part of the NHL and they'll probably win many more of them on their way to the playoffs.

Looking at their roster, I don't understand how Montreal is this good. It doesn't add up.

Guys like Price and Subban are large parts of the Montreal team being so good but they have decent forward talent like Patches, Plekanec and Galchenyuk.

Just ran into Dominic Hasek and Peter Forsberg. Told Hasek I was a Sens fan and he looked scared.

Ho Sang is rediculous. Cant believe so many teams passed on him because of attitude problems
