God, Colorado's blueline is beyond awful.

I mean, those who live in glass house and all of that... but damn. It's bad. I knew Colorado was due for a regression, but 2nd last in the West and getting blown out by the Isles, man. That's rough.

If the Avs don't make a move to fix that defence, they're missing the playoffs.

And San Jose getting blown out by Florida. Tampa, Montreal beating Winnipeg, Chicago. West is weak or what?
I won't be surprised even if we beat Vancouver today

Is anyone on that team having a good year except Johnson?

I think they are tanking, or have at least given up on playing for Roy.

I have always said that the West is best, but the winds are shifting. San Jose sucks, Chicago, LA and St. Louis are starting off slow, whereas the East has been pretty good. I think we'll all have to wait till Christmas to get a better picture.

I believe it. The suck when the draft is deep and thrive when it sucks or they have no 1st round pick.

Duchene, McKinnon and McDavid down the middle? Good night west.

Or Edmonton Oilers Part II.

They should trade Duchene for a Dman if that happens

They'd be a better team now if the traded Duchene for a dman, they probably just can't find a team with an extra top pair quality D that's willing to move it for a top line center.

No idea...

Especially since they had no inclination in re-signing him.

Watch for them to let O'Reilly walk too.

Something toxic about that whole organization.

Agreed. As time goes by, there seems to be a growing chorus of whispers about that organization. Things swept under the rug, the tanking issues, various shenanigans...

Makes you wonder if it's good for the league to have a future superstar like MacKinnon in that environment.
