Last night sucked for sure but this is not the same team nor the same coach as last year and the Piles aren't making the playoffs. Teams such as Tampa, Carolina, and Pitt are though and we beat all of them recently.

Especially the part about the league needing to re-think officiating from the ground-up. But also the bits on Beagle and Smith.

That’s the point. Officiating needs a complete overhaul. Not enforcement campaigns and gimmicks.

I find it kind of amusing how the people who were laughing at how the Rangers org called out the DoPS after the Panarin incident are now tightly clutching their pearls talking about change. Like bitch, our team owner called for the dude (by name) to get fired and you all laughed.

Not only that, people forget that Davidson and Gorton pretty much dug their toes on the side of the NHL and said f*** you, bread. Built a soft roster with nobody to protect the kids and stars and then went against their boss and organization. Gutless.

Hayes voicing his displeasure with Yandle's scratching, PHI fans absolutely sick that the Flyers organization started their GM and CEO conference with a superfluous congratulations to Yandle for an (undeserving based on his play) personal achievement when he broke the record. Damned if you do damned if you don't. Plenty of PHI fans are happy about some backbone from the organization to scratch an over the hill player that won't be there next season so they can evaluated their kids.
I didn't watch the game but there's no way that was worse than the second St. Louis game where the Rangers got destroyed. Second Golden Knights game was terrible too. Both Calgary games...

As far as how the rangers played? No they have had worse games, this game was just severely frustrating and boring, and losing to the Piles hurts way more than getting blown out by some western conference team

People bash the devils because they suck and have sucked for a decade. They just gave up 15 goals in the last 2 games and are bottom 5 in the league - Again. Their Neanderthal fans always diminish this teams success and think there is very little difference between the 2 teams except for goaltending. Yeah ok. They are only 39 points behind us, lol. Nobody can be bad forever and they do have some talent so I expect them to be competitive in the near future but for now they still suck.
Bu!!$hit! the Devils would be runaway president's trophy and the next 4 cup favorites if they had Igor in net. That is what the only Devil fan in high school, Giacomo, would have said if I still was in the same building as him 5 days a week for 4 years.

Slewban getting upset with a hit that injures a player. Ain't that the pot calling the kettle black? It wasn't a dirty hit either.
it was a clean hit but why was he given the game misconduct. visor? Or reputation? I thought Slewfoot would have gotten 2 5 and 10 for instigating although he did the right thing for sticking up for a teammate but could have done it later on.

Because it's the NHL and the refs suck. 2, 5 or at most 2,5,10 would have been the right call.
an absolute gutless puke who shudnt be in this league anymore. one of the most bizarre instigator fights ive ever seen. oddman rush up the ice and makes a beeline straight to a guy without the puck to attack him. should be a rule where a goal is awarded when u stop an oddman rush to attack someone.

Keith Jones actually had it right, Subban only acted tough because he knew he was punching down. Even still he didn't give the kid a chance to defend himself. Such a pathetic player, an embarrassment to an already embarrassing team.
