They will still be a tough opponent and Jarry can steal games. The wildcard is the officiating also. They lead the league in PP differential(go figure) and refs refuse to call penalties against us. This could be an important factor. In the last 2 games against them they lead 7-2 in the PP opportunities.

Maybe earlier in the year but we had the puck plenty in those 2 games against Pitt and the result wasn't any better.

I think so. But They do have Jones and Carrick but are more light weight physical tough guys with more skill than Deslauriers.

What’s more critical is getting Zegras and Terry skilled support since they should be on separate Lines. Could then throw a big body power forward with them who is physical.

f*** Mike Yeo, he’s always been one of the worst coaches in the league and constantly has a confused look on his face like he just sharted.

Secondly, about the Ducks, the Michigan goal is played out and lame. Zegras wants to cry about what happened at the end of the game? Don’t poke the goalie up 5-0. That was a learning experience for Zegras and Terry. Zegras dove and tried to sell the cross check and Terry took the beating from Beagle. Also it’s no coincidence this incident happens right after Deslauriers and Manson get traded. The fancy stat cult followers will never understand that part.

So true. Some analyze every bad game to death. We can't play playoff hockey because we had a poor effort against the Piles yet lets throw out the 5 games in a row that we beat playoff teams. SMH.

All teams have stinky games (Avs have lost twice to Arizona this year ) I just hate that they have to have these games against our biggest rivals. I’d trade those Hurricanes and Tampa wins for wins over the 2 scum teams that we don’t get up for.

I would never trade those wins because then the question would be about us beating good teams like earlier in the season. Beating good teams bodes well for the playoffs.
