Laine is who he is. Just a one dimensional top 6 player that doesn't even have his shot anymore. It's looking more and more like the org was correct not to invest in him long term. It's too bad cause he had a crazy amount of talent but never really figured out how to get the most out of it.

Just as much as EDM hasn't taken advantage of McDavid we haven't done much with a HOF quality goalie....i just don't think it's anything earth shattering that if you take away a team's 2 best players they might be much worse off (barring the other adds and subtraction)

The Jets played 7/14 games against the top 9 teams in the league and only one of those games they played bad.
Meanwhile Vegas played 4 games against the Sharks and Hawks take those easy 7 points away and Vegas only has two points more than the Jets.

There is no doubt under Creed and Guerin they have done more of the heel swerve. I know things got heated when their fans felt Stanley intentionally injured Kaprizov. One thing is for sure though our games with the Wild have gotten way more physical and heated since Creed took over.

I was so excited when we drafted that kid.

He is a good player, but I think he could have been so much more if he just trained harder.

In the end, it's good to move on, you're right.
