They absolutely deserved it. They played an insipid and lethargic game with their season on the line. Other than 87, they were flat out terrible.

The only thing I dislike about Buffalo is that I like the way their team is constructed better than ours. They play a fast, heavy, yet skilled game. That team is going to be a serious problem for the next several years.

I don't know about you, but I think the motivation level for the teams was a bit different.

Also the Rangers were clearly better the final 40 of last night's game. OT was a shit show but it's always a shit show.

lol they know nothing, don't take them seriously. i have no idea what they say nor do i care, but in my experience all they do is obsess over the rangers and try to convince themselves they're good by talking sht. that's called insecurity. don't be like them, who cares what they have going on or what "fans" say. unless and until we're playing them they're out of sight out of mind.

And for us that must get the national broadcast it will be split between ESPN and TNT. Then if we advance each of the networks will get two conference semifinals exclusively I believe. Then each will get a conference final. I'm not sure if they flip conferences each year or if ESPN gets first pick. ESPN had us and TB last year while TNT got the WCF.

This kind of even reinforces what I was saying because I thought we looked better for much of last iight than on the 31st as well, against a much more desperate team. We still looked like a peewee team for too long though. I do agree with you as far as motivations go
