Canadians will understand...it's cheap noodles with a salt packet. It's literally impossible to tell the difference between chicken, beef or pork. It's just extremely salty.

Ate a bunch of these as a college student...at like 20¢/pack.

I think I mentioned this here once before, but at my old job back in Newfoundland, I went to Halifax for meetings one week and got to talking to the Vice President of Atlantic Canada while at these meetings, he knew I was a huge Avs fan so we got to talking about hockey a bit and he brought up that he owns a cottage on a lake just outside of Halifax where two of his neighbors on the lake were Marchand and Mackinnon.

Anyway he said Mackinnon was a bit of a dick. Or at least that he really liked his privacy and didn't like to be involved with the other residents. On the flip side he said Marchand was one of the nicest people he'd ever met and would routinely take families out to dinner with his family or would take the kids out on his boat on the lake, etc. He said Maechand is basically the opposite of the way he acts when he's playing, genuinely a great person.

I'm no expert on Canadian politics but I'm very certain Atlantic Canada has no vice president.

If you’re not scrunching up the package, pouring the salt pack over the noodles, shaking it up and then eating it with your hands right out of the package for lunch - I refuse to believe you are a 90s Canadian kid

Edit: Now I really want ramen but also really don’t want to go to the store. This is as annoying as that time everyone started talking about falafel

I'm a bit of a weirdo. I've tried a lot of different ramens from H-mart, but I still think the best tasting ramen is the cheap Maruchan (has to be Maruchan, Nissin is crap) chicken ramen.

Non-shim or Nong-shim, can't remember, found in the international section of most grocery stores is my favorite. I feel like most of the rest has barely any flavor.

Evason is the anti-Bednar. While Bednar is chill to the point that last night’s display of anger was downright rattling to me, Evason appears to be in a perpetual state of rage. I don’t think his eyelids and the irises of his eyes ever overlap, even when he blinks.

Definitely it's just done well enough with high end fighting coriography and special effects, and attention to detail with that 80s wild ride action movie thing where you just ignore that 80% of what you see isn't possible. Well unless an Asian does it I think. I think maybe some of them can fly for real at this point.

I mean I fully believe Kung Fu completely negates the laws of gravity on your body at this point. Just saying

Really hope this is somehow related to a stadium management issue with the medical attention he got and that they’re investigating it as a negligence thing. Just horrible for the player who is probably really struggling mentally and going to carry the burden of a freak accident the rest of his life

I'm not saying I disagree with it. I have no idea. I haven't watched the video, and, no offense, but I don't care to see it. Everything I had read suggested it was just a freak accident. I'm just saying/asking they must think there was some intent. Awful situation all-around.

What kind of ramen?

Usually Top Ramen, I recently tried out spicy Buldak for the first time and damn near melted my face off (but it was damn good).

We also have a couple ramen joints here in Nebraska I frequent.
