Honestly I'm not ruling out the possibility that Verbeek's doing this knowing full well it's going to annoy a lot of people, he certainly excelled at doing that on the ice.

By not playing Carlsson nobody can accuse him of picking the wrong guy if Fantilli would outplay Carlsson. Now it gives Carlsson more time and less pressure to establish himself as the best of the two until their next game in Feb. I don't know...just grasping at some type of explanation here. Carlsson cannot need load management after only two games, can he? lol

The NHL frozen frenzy having commercials sucks. The best this about Red Zone is the absence of commercials.

It's been pretty dang awesome besides that. Definitely successful IMHO. I watched Avs game using it.
