Would be nice if the Kings did a fan poll like this.
Gotta go with the flying skate. Bure was a god among men.

As long as it's black and white Luc doesn't care.

When I was a kid, I hated Bure because of how often he killed the Kings, but I also grew to appreciate his talents because god damn, the guy was good. He also stood up for himself.
BTW, that's the same Todd Simpson who injured Palffy in 2003-04 in this game,

That elbow on Churla is still one of the worst I've seen. Dirty as can be

No doubt he was running around too but I hate seeing anyone like that outside of maybe Raffi Torres or Matt Cooke.Churla earned it.
even then. pretty gross. No doubt he was running around too but I hate seeing anyone like that outside of maybe Raffi Torres or Matt Cooke.
God damn. That elbow would be a 20 game suspension these days, at least. Total interference too. Crazy to see how different the game was back then. Tons of interference and straight up tackling.
Matt Greene would've made the Olympic team back then. Tall about being born in the wrong era.I'm so conflicted about stuff like that, at least back in the day. I know it would never fly these days, but that was some Gordie Howe ****, making sure the allstar takes care of himself and no one wants to go into a corner with the guy who would flying elbow Shane Churla. Not that I at all want to see guys injured, but I'd love to see, for example, Kopitar somehow make an example of someone trying to take a run at him (or at least something to handle Haula buttending him in the face, etc.).
At the time, I was like "That's so ****ing dirty and I love it."
But yeah, "pinning" a guy back then was basically wrapping him and dumping him. If you got caught, you were out of the play. Matt Greene would have been great in that era minus the actual fighting, heh.
why post this?

And now, Morrow is dealing with post concussion syndromes after retirement.
They're probably hoping Zetterberg doesn't play.Detroit now over the cap
