Southern markets are in vogue right now. Not only do you get the weather and anonymity, but save for Arizona and Nashville, they're all competitive at a high level. Carolina, Dallas, Florida Tampa and Vegas would all be in there; some seriously and some not (because of lack of assets). This is his and Hughes' team, the city itself should be to his favor, but the market and it's rabid fanbase constantly speculating is likely the deterent for him. I would be anxious if I am management too, because they have no control over this. Makes sense for them to go all in, and in the likely scenario that he signs, I believe that Rutherford/Allvin can figure out a way to recoup the loss in picks.
