Turned out to be a nice day. A little chilly not being in the sun, but the view is better than expected. Need to win this game. Oh yeah, plenty of Pittsburgh fans.

It looked like the sun was melting the ice. After the zamboni was done, they never put the one net out because there was a large puddle of water. Eventually they pulled the other net and delayed it. The game is on Ballys Great Lakes.

Feel bad for the fans that showed up but I repeat...outdoor hockey played in giant stadiums suck.

It hasn't been so bad. A lot of people just walked up to the casino. Its only a 15 minute walk. We just got back to the stadium and the ice is still covered but it is under shadow to the red line so it should be ok. We won some money at the casino, so it has been a win for us.

Monsters up 2-1 after 1st. Tarasov 13 saves on 14 shots. The goal was scored on a penalty shot. Meyer has a goal, Chiakov an assist. The chippiness has carried over from last night.

Tied at 4 after 2.Tarasov 21 saves on 25 shots. Two real nice re-directs by pens. TFW wit a goal and a dumb tripping penalty that led to the tying goal. The chippiness has died down.

Monsters lose. Tarasov 29 saves on 35 shots. Dumb penalty leads to go ahead goal for pens, add an empty net goal late. 6-4.
I wish we had a "appreciate, don't like" Like. Thanks for the report, bad loss considering they'd need to put a run together around now...
Bjorgvik-Holm was just called up to Cleveland. Not sure how much he'll play given that he bounced between third pairing and healthy scratch in Kalamazoo.

Monsters tie game back up at 2. Christainsen with the goal. Then back in the box we go. Both Grand Rapid goals scored on PP after dumb penalties. So why not give them another PP chance.

Linesman picks off our defensemen to give GR a breakaway and Greaves comes up big. Makes a few more big saves to keep it tied after some pressure from GR.
