Lol what? Mazur is 4 inches shorter and 40 lbs lighter than Brady Tkachuk. He’s got a little snarl to his game but he’s no where near as physical. A worse version of Bertuzzi is a better comp. Small, skilled, gritty guy. Should have a place in the NHL if he can stay healthy/his frame can hold up.

Eh mazur is a pest and plays pretty physical despite his size not being overly large. I feel poor man’s Brandon hagel is a good comp playstyle wise from what I’ve seen.

Mazur is a much better skater than Bertuzzi (which is not that difficult i guess)

I would have said Lombardi but i think with his injury, Mazur is probably the best call up here.

Playing physical =/= being as effective with your physicality, if that makes sense

Both play physical. Bert had incredible hockey sence, we don't know how good Mazur is yet. Remember Bert was our first line player

Connor Garland, Maybe something like Blake Coleman? He fits that archetype I think. Solid, gritty two way utility winger that can play up and down the lineup.

Fischer being waived is a shame though.

Really liked the way he played with Ras and Elmer.

Haven’t watch a lot of Mazur, but the way some of you describe his play… should be a good “deadline” add for the team.

Energy players are a large part of what this team is missing.

Fischer lost his spot fair and square. I liked him last year, but this year hes had a tough go. Also frustrates me that hes a 13th forward type that can be physical but hasnt done it. Youre in a battle for your playoff lives, go dig at a puck on the other teams goalie or take a run at someone to spark the team

I watched a lot of them both in junior/ncaa/ahl and I really dont think youre finding a better comp than Bertuzzi. Mazur is abit more of a shooter and Bert was a passer but point still stands

Mazur has been better than Elmer was before his callup.

So it could be anything. Probably positive. I've always liked Mazur how he plays already like a veteran at young age.

Love that he's a right shot. We can always use those.

He definitely adds one on the Bottom6 which has zero righties right now.

Raymond, DeBrincat, Compher are the only ones currently.

One thing that has been a success this season is every young player we've had up. Hopefully Mazur is no exception.
