It's much easier rooting for a bottom dwelling team, I don't blame you.

I think it's the directionality that makes a rebuilding team easier to follow. It's the progression of a tear down, accumulation and step by step progress towards something, with a high volume of change that can be exciting, hopeful. (Although I'm sure Buffalo, Detroit, Ottawa and Montreal might have a thing or two to say about that). The Leafs have plateaued and we are looking at incremental growth among our core, supplemented by good smaller roster changes year to year. And the incremental growth on the core guys is not encouraging.

I never caught any of the earlier Canada game, but my buddy told me Marner was moved to like the third line? not sure how he performed today?

If I am Rasmus Dahlin I am asking for a trade out
I have an appreciation for his play. Very quietly solid
The Sabres get better when they find a bad GM to take Dylan Cozens off of their hands.

In all the Buffalo games I have seen, I don't think I have ever seen a player get so much ice time that almost single handedly hurts his team game after game with his play away from the puck.
