It's just really redundant with the forwards they already have. Another skilled oriented winger that is small? Maybe if they didn't sign both Jeff Skinner and Arvdisson it would work.
He very likely takes Skinners spot next season and I doubt he gets more than a cup of coffee this year.

I wonder who he ends up playing with. His favorite player growing up was Nuge, so I think it would be pretty cool to have them play together. Maybe something like this:

Arvidsson - McDavid - Hyman
Skinner - Drai - Podkolzin
Janmark - Nuge - Savoie
Perry - Henrique - Brown
I would start him with Henrique and Perry, the line could use a speed & skill infusion, it gives him 2 good mentors and 2 people he can feed that are legitimate scoring threats, plus they have some size to give him a little more room out there.

Those small guys we haven't aren't as fast or skilled as Savoie. Nor are they as good defensively

Man this is the softest team in the NHL. No thank you.

Excited to see Savoie get a chance (hopefully in the top 9 instead of just a few minutes). Would be nice to see what we have in the org before trading assets at the deadline.
I am not at all against giving Savoie a shot, but it could get tricky. If he plays well for a few weeks that shouldn't mean we don't go trade our assets for an upgrade.

This could be like the Klingberg signing where if Savoie plays well we don't end up adding a top 6.

Anyways it's nice to see different players getting a shot under this new management.

Funny thing with Savoie is that during training camp I was more impressed with his play away from the puck. Created some turnovers.

I was a bit disappointed with his skill/speed. I honestly was expecting more. Interesting though that he won the fastest skater in AHL.

Hopefully he gets a few games.

I find Canuck fans so insufferable.

Their management group signs M. Petterson to a long term deal and O’Connor to deals which is fine. But they act like they know everything about the players after seeing them play for a couple games lol. Allvin and Rutherford are all seeing and all knowing. Well until they aren’t.

Blind believers living in their own little world.

I'm fighting the good fight on the mains. It's hilarious that they were upset for overpaying guys like Desharnais and Heinen. They had to pay to dump them. Then they go ahead and sign Drew O'Connor for 2.5M.

Actually, I think this community would have loved Anderson. He was kind of an enigma but he played hard and was not a guy who made a lot of obvious mistakes.

Coffey was the main guy who took heat from the fans. Messier often took heat from Sather. Lumley before Gretzky turned him around would have been run out of town.

Haha yeah. I made a joke on there that DoC is basically Heinen v2.0 who they just traded.
