Yep. Drafting top 3 would probably have an as big impact as drafting Demidov last summer.

The cherry on the sundae would be CGY's pick being in the 11-16 range. Imagine leaving the draft with one of Schaefer/Martone plus a guy like Desnoyers. ​

Meh, if we're picking top 10, there are better options. Could be interesting with the other 1st rounder though, depending on where it goes.

Boom.

I'm not so sure about Hage playing in the top 6 (yet). If Demidov can be traded to another KHL. I would have loved to see him play at center. His play making skill is insanely high.

Dach-Demidov-Martone combo will be better.

Not the way he’s currently trending. You need to pick players that are showing consistent development.

Ryabkin seems to have a concerning attitude. Overweight (what is reported) and pulls shenanigans to play where he thinks he belongs. I believe those are red flags for our current management

I was really hoping they would be in the 10-15 range next summer but it seems ill be paying more attention to the top 5ish guys....

With a little luck Calgarys pick will be in that 11-15 range

Wouldn't need the lottery for Misa.. just would have to be where we are right now without getting jumped.

Avoiding to get jumped is what I meant. In our current spot, we can fall to 5 meaning we'd miss on all 4 of those guys. We'd need a bottom 2 finish to guarantee them. Still a lot of hockey left and I have a hard time seeing Nashville be this bad all year.
