I'm 100% for Martone, Hagens or Misa with Habs. What will be very fun to add a player like that.

Imagine Demidov and Hage will coming aswell.

The talent up front, will be incredible!!

Forward or D, take the best BPA, but if we are in top 5 and one of 3 forwards I said are there, they are 100% BPA.
I personally take Schaefer before Misa but i would be more than ok with the latter.

Hagens Assist 10:43

not his best game.

Honestly, been watching all but one of BCs games, and Hagens has been underwhelming in about all of them. I recall that David St Louis and Mitch Brown both had questions about his hockey sense, and it seems like Hagens is doing about nothing to dispell the doubts about that part of his game so far. And hes a late birthday

He likely won't ever be the popular pick around here since he's a LD but Schaefer may end up 1st on my list. His game screams all-star dman.

I agree. Hagens does a lot of great things but his shifts are full of ups and downs. He has yet to convince me that he's the sure shot 1st overall. So far I like Schaefer, Martone and Misa more.

and yeah, Schaefer is legit. He already looks good just coming back from mono. Im still waiting to see if the Schaefer from Hlinka will come back in the next couple weeks though. If he does, hes 100% 1st OA worthy.

I would maybe take Shaeffer first overall.

The dude is a clear first defenseman in the futur. He is the youngest player of the draft as well...so dominant

Shaeffer
Hutson
Reibacher
Guhle

True contender for the Cup with those 4 d's

Hagens , Martone and Misa are all great great choices but for a true winning team Shaeffer is maybe the smartest pick

Many see him as a future #1 defenseman

Missa has the hockey IQ,the shot, the skating,is ok on face off…..

They need someone with Demidov in the top 6 who draws the team into the fight.

Schaefer is a beauty but he doesn't change the attitude of the team.

Martone would bring big stick energy.
Demidov also need a elite center. What do you do if Dach can't play at center? Trade? I feel like we need more a player like Hagens or Misa playing at center for Demidov.

Is Misa really that inferior to Martone?

Left handed centers would be considered but Martone is my 1 for the class. Hagens is great but he is slight and small, he might flip to the wing. While Misa has impressed this year I still would rate Martone a tier higher than him.

Hage will probably be the answer if Dach isn't, or a trade might have to happen at some point to address that.

I like the idea of Hage panning out, but realistically he's a guy drafted late in the 1st by an organisation that's drafted one top 6 quality center in the last 20 years, he's a long shot. Hopefully we either luck out for Hagens or make an off season move for a 2C.

Not interested in Hagens.

We need some big bad dogs on that top 6.

Martone all the way.

Right now i wouldn't commit on who's the no.1 guy because i didn't watch any amateur hockey but from what i am hearing and what i'm seeing from the Habs so far, i would draft in this order :

1-Martone
2-Hagens
3-Schaefer
4-Misa
5-Frondell

McQueen should be on that list even if he is injured right now. I also like Victor Eklund, he’s very dynamic but he’s kinda smallish.
