I’d rather have Roy and Montour please.
Probably not realistic though. My wish list is:
Roy
Chatfield
Duchene/Stamkos/ someone in this tier
Brossoit

Robertson-Hintz-Bourque
Benn-Johnston-Stankoven
Marchment-Duchene/Stamkos-Seguin
Steel-Dellandrea-Blumel/anyone but Faksa

Miro-Roy
Harley-Chatfield
Lindell-Bichsel

Oettinger
Brossoit

I’m confused as to if Bischel is a LD or a RD. I’ve seen him projected on both sides.

I've always seen he either likes or can play the right side well even though he's a left shot. I would think he'd be good on the left side too if needed.

Potential contract numbers:

Some of note ....

Matt Roy: 4 x $5.5M
Brett Pesce: 6 x $6.7M
Jalen Chatfield: 3 x $2.7M
Chris Tanev: 3 x $4.7M

Matt Duchene: 3 x $6.5M
Spitballing here, but I really wouldn’t hate Tanev and Tyler Myers for 7ish AAV combined over the next two seasons with Suter and Hak gone.

If Dallas resign Duchene it does mean Borque likely has to start at wing in his career.

From all I see it's probably better Borque plays his role as a centre man.

You definitely have Hintz and Johnton as your 1-2 centre punch, so the 3rd line centre will be an interesting view.

If Duchene signed for 2 years probably could be predominantly centre this year then maybe transition to win the following year as Borque takes over.

But I think Borques readiness probably impacts their decision on Duchene.

I'm in the camp of wanting Duchene back too, at the reasonable price.

I think the only gripe I have with your lineup is I think Tanev will cost more than that. We are about to enter the first off-season truly free of the flat cap era, so it's time for some GMs to get back to making terrible decisions in free agency.

I do have 1.6 million in cap space there so it would still work.

Matt Roy at 4.5-5 would be nice

why do we think we can get a tkachuk? so lost on that one

im all for upgrading our backup G and if a coach w a different staff isnt a big downgrade, that could be good? (pdb is pretty alright after all aside of a handful of biases)

duchene at the right price could still work, but i doubt he decreases his ask enough

i feel like our carved up 5 d did us in, exacerbating our goalie stats

Thomas Harley is likely going to cost $4 million plus. He's not coming in around $3 million.

Evan Bouchard: 2 years X $3.9 million
Filip Hronek: 3 years X $4.4 million
Noah Dobson: 3 years X $4 million
K'Andre Miller: 2 years X $3.872 million
Bowen Byram: 2 years X $3.85 million
