The problem I have is ss is a very important position and not the one you want to be your weakest position defensively. I do wish they would move Bo off of ss

I kinda like that they're using ERA+ as a primary comparative stat on the broadcasts now. not that I don't "get" what decent/good/great/terrible raw ERAs are, but it can fluctuate enough that it's useful to see it represented relative to a baseline.

Only one inning so not much to take away, but when you look at the history of this front office with medium/long term pitcher signings, and then Bassett does that, it doesn't give you much confidence.
Still early though. A lot more starts needed to see what Bassett becomes.
