Victoriaville overage forward Tommy Cormier, who averaged over a PPG during his Q career, has signed with Trois Rivières of the ECHL.

Definitely seems like fewer higher-end CHL guys have been announced so far compared to previous years.

Looking at who has left - Outhouse, Gilmour, Nurse, Landry, Wilms, Keating. That's a good bit of talent to replace and they only have 2 confirmed recruits in Plandowski and Dubois.

Cormier had a great Q career, but his teammate Max Pellerin may be considered a better fit for a lot of USports teams, including UQTR, Moncton and UNB. I would be surprised if he didn't go pro!

I took that to mean Kyte and Landry (didn’t he sign in Sweden awhile ago) are the two departures….but perhaps guys like McCallum and McCormick are weighing pro offers too?
