Derek Gentile, DAL is my guess.
Graduated, going to MBA, I think.Wouldn't he have to sit out a year? Or did he graduate?
Must have been a verbal commit, because no LOI anywhere on him that I could find.Ben West originally committed to Brock but once Brock committed to ncaa goalie Will Hambley , West de-committed and end up at SMU
Rocky's sonAdd 2 more to SFX:
Colby Saganiuk, Sioux City (posted 2 weeks ago) and Alex Christopolous, Saginaw Spirit.
By my math, that's 9 recruits to SFX.
I just saw that also.
Oliver Peer to UNB now official

I think fewer than that!Deni Goure, who had 96 points with Owen Sound last year, is off the board as he has signed with Calgary of the AHL.
From what I can tell, the highest scoring overagers remaining are:
Connor Roulette (WHL) - 108 points
Gabe Klassen (WHL) - 106 points
Trevor Wong (WHL) - 101 points
Justin Gill (QMJHL) - 98 points
Atlee Calvert (WHL) - 95 points
Israel Mianscum (QMJHL) - 87 points
Jack Beck (OHL) - 85 points
Sloan Stanick (WHL) - 84 points
Robert Orr (QMJHL) - 82 points
Kai Uchaacz (WHL) - 81 points
Still a lot of the highest scoring defencemen left:
Graham Sward (WHL) - 81 points
Hudson Thornton (WHL) - 74 points
Sam Sedley (OHL) - 63 points
Parker Berge (WHL) - 63 points
Jeremy Langlois (QMJHL) - 62 points
Marc Lajoie (WHL) - 58 points
Chas Sharpe (OHL) - 53 points
Samuel Mayer (OHL) - 53 points
Geez…guess I haven’t been paying close enough attention. Thanks for the updates!I think fewer than that!
Atlee Calvert, Gabe Klassen and Jack Beck -Wilkes-Barre Penguins( AHL)
Justin Gill with Bridgeport ( AHL).
Israel Mianscum- Laval.
Mayer signed with Henderson (AHL)
Sharpe with the Marlies ( AHL).
Sward was at the Winnipeg Jets Development camp with newly recruited UNB forward Cole Huckins.
Based on production only, I think most of the remaining players on this list will sign some form of pro contract.
We are definitely in the market with Griffen Outhouse moving on to Europe this off-season. This recruiting season is definitely a different feel with Goalies than past. Over the past decade or so we seem to have been able to get a top goalie when needed. I hear Somers may be back for another year which would give us time to see if a goalie became available at Christmas. Interesting to see how this will play out.UNB is likely in the market for a goaltender. From the list I created, Michael Simpson looked to be the best, but has recently signed a 1-way with Belleville. Here is a list of the candidates I found. Riley Mercer, Austin Elliott and Jacob Oster have good stats.
Apologies' if some of these names have already been mentioned or signed somewhere.

As long as Richard stays healthy Somers would be a more than capable backup in my mind. Something must have changed because he had said he was going to work as a goalie coach in Miramichi and had a job lined up as a personal trainer . Definitely hope he is back and gets a chance to play , he’s a really good guy.We are definitely in the market with Griffen Outhouse moving on to Europe this off-season. Could always postpone being an adult for one more year? Lol...I guess we will see what happens. I agree, Somers as a 3 for his time with the REDS could have been a top 2 guy on some teams in the AUS and I think more in the OUA. We have been so lucky to have strong goaltending for so long. Kyle MacDonald has been a big part of that here with Men's and Women's hockey at UNB. He has a bright future ahead!!As long as Richard stays healthy Somers would be a more than capable backup in my mind. I can confirm that Somers will be back this year to do his masters and will be Richards back up!Could always postpone being an adult for one more year? Lol...I guess we will see what happens.
