I did a very rough count at Elite Prospects. Of the junior grads announced as recruited by USports teams are:
43 from Junior A
6 from Major Junior
5 from US Junior

(This goes back to March 1st. Not all announced elsewhere are on the list. Some Major Junior players played overage in Junior A.)

It’s not that unusual to see a lack of CHL commits at this point, is it? They usually don’t pick up until after the Memorial Cup. The big schools don’t typically announce anything until later in the summer.

Saw that. One year, 2-way. He has a lot of tangibles ( solid D, shot blocking, likes to hit) that are appealing. Hope it works out for him. If not, he may be a nice Christmas gift for some USports team.
