I'm actually a little surprised they didn't hold it this weekend and leave FA for next. Can it be draft day yet
Nah.He says, "continuing" to hear. Did he ever make that proclamation previously? I certainly could have missed it while traveling.
I think it was reported in the last week or so. Most of us thought it felt like click bait.He says, "continuing" to hear. Did he ever make that proclamation previously? I certainly could have missed it while traveling.
I would be surprised if we ended up going with Carlsson. Not because he isn't worthy of the pick, but it just feels like Fantilli is the exact type of player Verbeek would want.
That's pretty much what I thought too. But to play devil's advocate, most scouts say the two are awfully close. Factor in the Ducks' success drafting Swedes and maybe it wouldn't be the biggest shock of the draft.I would be surprised if we ended up going with Carlsson. Musty would be interesting and there is an outside chance he falls to 33. Edstrom would be my guy at 33 if he falls.Intrigue and excitement in the Year of Connor Bedard at the NHL Draft | TSN
The 2023 NHL Draft is about so much more than just the phenom who will go first overall to the Chicago Blackhawks in Nashville, Bob McKenzie writes. Scouts are very enthused about the depth of this year’s class.www.tsn.ca
Would loooove to get musty later on. Would have to trade back into the first.
His list always ends up being the most accurate. Thank goodness his list has Fantilli at #2.McKenzie's final ranking has Fantilli 2nd. 9/10 scouts voted him #2.

I won’t be mad at a carlsson pick…. But I think fantilli has the higher upside…. I think he has more tools that we should be looking for. I feel like taking carlsson is a case of overthinking
