And what makes you think the fans from Houston are any less obnoxious?

Do you know anybody from Texas who doesn't think Texas is Nazareth?? I don't.

Like, Wyoming has college football and beef. You're not that special.

Mostly from interacting with Phillies fans on the internet for far longer than Houston fans.

Before this current Astros team was built, the last time they were relevant to me was in the early 2000s. I remember when I was like 10, I bought a pack of cards and got a rookie Jeff Bagwell card, looked it up in Beckett Magazine and saw it was worth $350 in mint condition (at the time; now it’s worth like $20), I immediately went back to the card store and bought a glass case.

Then a few years they were in the WS, and then completely irrelevant to me until recently.

Astros fans are f***ing awful on /r/baseball though. But every fan base in all sports that wins a championship gets annoying af. And then they got especially annoying because they tried defending their asterisk.

Definitely f*** them both.

Get ready for the bullshit;
Friday Nearly two weeks after the Yankees season ended in disappointment once again, Cashman and Aaron Boone will meet the media.

You know, now that you mention it, I can actually let Mets fans slide on this because the Phillies is their personal business. Business is business.

What sits less well with me is "I don't really like baseball but I'm rooting for cancer because I don't like the Eagles. Go cancer!"

Not mentioning any names!

Man, good thing you didn't mention any names or I might have thought that post was about me.

And there it is ….
Both Cashman and manager Aaron Boone pointed to key injuries — to DJ LeMahieu, Andrew Benintendi, Michael King, Chad Green and Scott Effross, among others — that kept the Yankees from being the best version of themselves against the Astros.

At a minimum, the bullpen would have been way better with King, Green, and Effross in there.

A bunch of absolute no names go to Houston, all turn into Mariano Rivera in one winter, and form the greatest bullpen of all-time.

I'm sure the means are completely legitimate.

Paging @Uninstaaled.
Well, I haven't watched baseball for a bit because the Yankees are built like shit but when I saw Verlander for the first time in 3 years, first thing that popped into my head is HGH. His face grew.

People also underestimate good coaching, especially in a finesse sport.

For whatever reasons, New York teams NEVER ( rarely ) get good coaching. It's a meme but it's also a reality.

Last time I can think of a good coach was Bill Parcells for the Jets in the 90's.

Daboll for the Giants looks good.

Verlander had TJ last year and came back at 39 years old and just posted a sub 2 era.

Its not HGH.

taking wheeler out was some inconceivably dumb galaxy brain shit.

He was dealing and had like 70 pitches.
