I know I'm in an incredibly small minority, but I never cared about that Astros shit. Honestly I wish my team was smart enough to come up with something like that; maybe then they'd actually win. As much as I hate NE as a Jets fan I also always felt the same way about them--they're just better at cheating than everyone else apparently. Whatever. Glad this shit season is over.

so f***ing glad i didn't have to live through another phillies world series.

Theyre probably my most hated sports franchise. Right up there with the Islanders

Yup, plenty of teams cheated, including the Mets and Yankees. But I don't think there's any chance a guy like Dusty Baker would have allowed anything shady this time around.

The Astros cheated on a whole other level, though.

I was rooting for the Phillies big time, but I knew once the Phillies lost their last two games at home, they were toast.

Good riddance

Well, I haven't watched baseball for a bit because the Yankees are built like shit but when I saw Verlander for the first time in 3 years, first thing that popped into my head is HGH. His face grew.

People also underestimate good coaching, especially in a finesse sport.

For whatever reasons, New York teams NEVER ( rarely ) get good coaching. It's a meme but it's also a reality.

Last time I can think of a good coach was Bill Parcells for the Jets in the 90's.
Giants...

Consider me still sus about the Astros. Was Yordan Alvarez always a man child or did he bulk up when he became Astros property? There's also the issue of Jeremy Pena falling out of the blue sky out of nowhere for them. Falling into shit by losing Correa and Brantley, and come out of it smelling like roses.

I congratulated a friend, who's from Houston. We had joked about a Mets-Astros WS. Joke's on me!

Law can get f***ed. "Multi year deals for relievers rarely work!" Sky is blue, water is wet, and other breaking news at 10.

The Mets are in win-now mode. If he gives them at least a couple of good years it's fine, Cohen has money to burn.

Aaron Judge, OF, Yankees, age 31
Jacob deGrom, RHP, Mets, age 35
Trea Turner, SS, Dodgers, age 30
Carlos Correa, SS, Twins, age 28
Xander Bogaerts, SS, Red Sox, age 30
Justin Verlander, RHP, Astros, age 40
Dansby Swanson, SS, Braves, age 29
Carlos Rodón, LHP, Giants, age 30
Chris Bassitt, RHP, Mets, age 34
Brandon Nimmo, CF, Mets, age 30

Who should the Mets and Yanks sign?
Yanks should resign Judge and sign a shortstop and a starter. Mets should sign a CF and resign degrom and bassit. I'm not as high on Nimmo as most met fans but outside Judge he is the only real choice. None of these guys are going to give a discount.
