I forget where I heard it but Judge met with Hal and he straight up asked him what else are the Yanks going to do if he resigns with them. Judge is class all the way. He praised his teammates over and over again. Especially when winning the Hank Aaron award last week. He isn't like Durant as he would never throw them under the bus...

...but he isn't dumb. He saw what we saw, this year especially where he had to carry this team with little support. Despite the valid injury issues that plagued the end of this year, he can't like the rhetoric that is coming out of the front office. I could see him leaving the org because he doesn't trust the braintrust.

If he goes someplace else, I'd love to see the Yanks, with no self awareness, leak that they gave a better offer than the one he accepted. It would be the biggest indictment on this organization.

BTW, the rhetoric? This is a good colum on it: On Process and Results - Views from 314 Ft.

Hal just said at the owners meetings he won't be outbid for Judge..so if he signs elsewhere,he was always going to.

if Judge walks that would be an enormous indictment on the Yankees as an organization.

I’m like 75% sure he stays, but the possibly of the The Giants certainly scares me.

Dodgers shed a ton of salary. If judge wanted the best chance of winning where would he go?

Aaron Judge is in San Francisco and will meet with the Giants on Tuesday, per Mark Feinsand 👀

In my mind Judge has already left. I’m just waiting on his Players Tribune thanking the Yankees and the fans.

If he resigns here then I’ll be pleasantly surprised, so in a way I can’t lose.

I’m also interested to see if Cashman can fix his absolutely atrocious screw ups in the Donaldson trade and the Hicks contract. I also wonder what the Plan B is if Judge does walk.

Unless Judge wants to "gohome" the Yankees will out bid any team. If he wants to cash in he will go to a market with less taxes. I expect this to be done done i the next week.

Dodgers just cleared $100 million in salaries. Yanks won't outbid them. That's not to say the dodgers will make a big offer or that judge will choose them over relatively equal offers.

I think the tax issue is overstated.

Yeah. folks and business flooding to markets with no state taxes is overated.
Said no one ever.
Id be gone if my wife did not love her job because NYS is a shit show of supporting devients and squatters

When asked what his goals were he said hall of Fame not world series. He's probably not even sniffing playoffs with the rangers but I doubt he cares.
Yeah but he left when we wanted him to stay. Will take awhile to digest. Cohen has a lot to prove now. Open the Damn checkbook or be just another Wilpon

He's dead to me.

Let's see if he's a p***y like Syndergaard and skips a start in August.

That is too bad about DeGrom. I don't pay attention enough to baseball anymore to know why he left but I always tried to tune into his starts. When that guy was on, he was on the level of watching prime Maddux and prime Pedro.

I take it the Mets will turn to Rodon now
