I was more interested in Yamamoto leading up to his posting when people were talking about how the deal might be 5-7 years. That's a more manageable risk. If he's mediocre and you end up stuck with him for 8 or 9 years that's a real bummer. Now I think he'll be great and probably opt out at first chance, but still, it's a substantial risk. I guess it doesn't really matter for LA but it would worry me (not that I wouldn't take him and his contact every day).
