Out:
Provorov
DeAngelo
Braun

In:
Walker
Staal
Zamula

Stayed:
Sanheim
York
Ristolainen
Seeler

They never really cleared any spots. Even the Sanheim deal that fell through had a defensemen in Krug coming back. Room should have been cleared given this is supposedly a rebuild.
danny and torts are gonna roll with staal all the way up until the point we're mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. if we're somehow in playoff picture around the deadline theyre gonna trade frost and our 1st round pick to whoever signs Patrick Kane if its not already us

Are you guys expecting the Flyers to re-sign Konecny (or try to) after this contract, or does he not fit the timeline and will likely be traded this year or next?

ROFL the absolute stunning idiots running this team think they're gonna be through this rebuild in a year so they're keeping the likes of TK, Laughton, Tippett, etc.

MacEwen joined NAK in the AHL. we got a 5th for MacEwen, no one got anything for NAK.

If TK shows he can stay healthy, they'll extend him if the price is reasonable.
What are you going to get in a trade? A late first, 2nd and a B prospect? Even the best 1st will be top 10 protected.
Now if someone offers an under 25 1RHD that's another story, but collect 2nd tier assets instead of a 30+ goal scorer who's a culture guy?

Horvat - Beauvillier, 2023 1st
DeBrincat - 1st, 2nd 3rd, then 1st, 4th Kubalik
Reinhart - 1st and Levi
Mantha - 1st, 2nd and Vrana
Coleman 1st and Foote

Colorado got a Cup with him as a regular in the lineup. Doubt that will happen for any team ZMAc's on. :snide:
Unless he's traded to Vegas!

NAK had 0 points in 14 postseason games, think they won in spite, not because, of him.

Can’t you just admit that your statement blew up in your face instead of playing these games?
Huh. NAK was a marginal player on a ST winner. They let him walk b/c they didn't value him. He played 14 of 20 games and didn't score a point.

He's in the same category as MacEwen, marginal NHL forward who struggles to stick on a roster.
Why people slurp him is beyond me.

Cousins at least has had a solid career since he left Philly.

NAK played like 1 game in the final series that year. People here love pointing to the NAK example like its a gotcha moment but its not, he averaged less than 10 minutes a night and was a complete non factor in every way during those playoffs, and he hasnt played regular minutes for a team since.

He played 67 regular season games out of 69, and 14 out of 20 playoff games for the Champions in the same season the 29th placed Flyers waived him to make room for Bunnaman, Cates J, Hodgson, MacEwen, Mayhew, Thompson and Willman.

Only someone who has made it their life's work to defend Chuck Fletcher would still argue it wasn't a clear example of awful roster management.

He also played 47 out of 69 games for the Caps last season.
