Why would Torts like Brink if he hates Frost?
Brink is actually more skilled than Frost, Frost is merely a faster skater.
Why is Atkinson a Tort's favorite? He doesn't hit or block shots, has gotten Lady Byng votes.

The Tort's "hates skill" theory falls apart quickly.

Tortorella himself insisted he doesn't want skill, but instead wants PK specialists who score little. You should believe him when he tells you who he is instead of crafting these bullshit fantasies. Are you saying it's easier for Frost to score against less effective defense? But, then wouldn't that make him a good powerplay player? After all, penalty killing defense is less effective than even strength defense.

What he's doing is grasping at straws to defend every bad decision the team makes. It's like when he spent a month pounding the table about how TOI is a reliable indicator of player quality because he had to defend usage of Hagg.

Dead, I think you should consider that the Flyers are actually a team that does a lot of things wrong all the time, which is why they're so bad. If every single thing they do were as correct and justified as you pretend then they wouldn't be this bad.

He's not nearly as fast as Frost, but has better vision, better passer, more agile in a short area.

Frost is in a no win situation. He didn’t have arb rights, and basically had to sign what the team game him or not play. He could’ve pulled a Pinto, and not signed, but then he’s looking at playing ~100 games over 3 seasons. That’s not a great look for a guy trying to crack an NHL roster.

His best best right now is to play good soldier and try to get some meaningful minutes, increase his stock and request a trade later in the year.

I don't think he even needs to request a trade. If he's still on the team a year from now I'll be amazed.

There are a lot of levels below TK, as we saw last season over a full 82 game schedule. No other other coach in the league would bench their 2nd leading ES rate scorer after two games. Only tiny Tortorella is that insecure.

Frost is being punished for not finding the scoresheet in a game he didnt play in now. zamula being scratched after his game against vancouver is equally dumb but the Frost thing is inexcusable especially after he took it on the chin like a champ from the media and owned the whole situation yesterday.
