As his contract runs out this summer, what is van Riemsdyk's final legacy in Philadelphia?

A big problem for the Flyers after they signed Hayes was they had three big, soft forwards making too much money, Hayes, JVR and Voracek (who gradually declined, mostly on defense, after his big contract, more rapidly after 2019-20).
Over a decade after joining the Philadelphia Flyers, could Jakub Voracek be on the way out? Or is it worth keeping him around in Philly?

It's not that they didn't produce points (when healthy), it's that they didn't produce enough points to justify their cap hits given their mediocre at best defense, and their inability to push play. Since they ate a lot of minutes, they dictated the style of play. Flyers ended up a slow, soft team that struggled to play consistent defense, but couldn't score enough to compensate. For years, TK was the only fast forward in the top 9, with Laughton as the runner up (Voracek wasn't the big fast monster at 30 that he was in his early 20s), I think that, more than anything else, exposed them in the changing NHL.
It'll be interesting to see what Briere prioritizes in the coming years.
