I’ll be good with the Slafkovsky pick if we win the lottery next season.

Slafkovsky - Bedard - ?
? - Suzuki - Caufield

My girlfriends grandfather owns a shitload of real estate in van like over a hundred million worth and he said to me ojce “if you take no risk you’ll make no money”
Well I thought taking a risk on Wright is the kind of thing that bears fruit. Taking a risk on Slafkovsky is the kind of thing that can have you living in a van by the river.

As for the 13 OA for Dach trade... I... that's an overpay. You guys are right.

There's a reason Chicago was willing to dump Dach for scraps. The guy has a bum wrist and was never all that impressive offensively. If they passed on Wright or Cooley because they knew they had Dach in the pipeline at C then it's IMO a stupid gamble. And if Slaf ends up an Armia type because his speed and low IQ are not up to snuff in the NHL (which is, honestly pretty likely) then this will look even worse. Sorry if I am not elated we are banking the next 10 years of this franchise on gambles and hopes and dreams.
Saflovsky is a high risk, high rewards kind of pick.... But it can fail miserably.

Considering who all I see complaining, and their average rate of being correct about anything, I feel very confident in this bold direction. You can't claim to "trust" HuGo if the caveat to that is only if they agree with everything you think.

19 points in 133 games... come on man he'll never break out offensively. He's a better player then Mete but neither can do anything offensively.
But he was a reliable hard hitting d-man. Guhle better be ready. Harris too.

I'm not sure i prefer Dach upside. But he's right that neither of them has shown much outside of just belonging. I've not seen Dach enough with COVID and the fact Chicago has an awful team unpleasant to watch. I'm intrigued by the move. I'd say if both Romanov and Dach reach their potential i'm probably taking Dach. But it's a gamble for sure.
