i`ve read the angry tweets and posts - i will not be commenting on my son (Riley Damiani)'s performance this year

Sure we have Johnston and Stankoven but Montreal has Xhekaj. Advantage Montreal.

Texas is so deep this year. Had no idea even Peterson was a healthy scratch candidate down there. This tweet is about Stranges tho

Saw him being discussed on the International Tournaments thread so I thought maybe I could find out more about him here.

Any thoughts on the Czech forward Matej Blumel?

Has decent numbers with Texas but they have been a dominant team.

He's one of the many fringe NHL-AHL guys Stars have under contract this year. There isn't much difference between him Studenic . Oloffson , and a few other ( + all the prospects ) . He's good enough for a depth role in the NHL but so are at least 5-6 players currently on the Texas Stars

A bit OT, but in looking at 2023 prospect rankings, only 3 of the top 32 are D men. And only 7 more in the top 64. The draft is forward heavy.

I wonder if that played into their heavy drafting of D last year?

I like the fact Studenic draws some penalties with that speed and tenacity. Perfect 4th liner / 13th forward.

Nice to see Bourque coming along

Anyone know what happened to Ertel ? I have noticed him missing from box scores in Brampton games. Injured?
