Good to see Bourque warming up, Texas is f***ing stacked this year but it is mostly the career AHLers carrying the team so good to see the young guys heating up now.

Even if Bourque slows down again, the AHL is pretty bad with playmakers. Hintz is an underrated passer and couldn't do shit in the A'. Guys like Maccelli are the very rare exception. Bourque has that kind of potential.

Speaking of potential, it's still crazy to me that Bichsel's offense (the biggest question mark) rated so highly at the WJ. Small sample size, but if he's turning into K'Andre Miller, I'll never say a bad word about the scouting department ever again.

Poirier is a real prospect. Somewhat forgotten about and a knock-on victim of the Khudobin mess. He's probably playing at a level lower than he should be, but we've certainly seen prospect goalies fail to perform in the ECHL.
