What's his deal? He have a shot at the bigs or just AHL?
Big boys that score? I'm sure there's a chance.... Worth taking a flyer on a guy like that for sure and hoping he's a late bloomer. Odds are he develops similarly to Justin Brazeau and just hops between the ECHL/AHL though.

Found a @Brock article on overagers for those interested.

Hope he does better than Tye Felhaber who was/is barely an AHL player. Those kind of guys are worth a shot . Just don't expect any of them to pan out. If one does great but most don't

I still wanna know why they never offered Lo-Mo an ELC. 6th in scoring in the OHL right now

Morrison has the exact same points-per-game as last season, so it could be perceived that he hasn’t progressed that much in his overage season. I wouldn’t mind if the Stars offered him a contract, but probably more of the same for overage players signed out of the OHL.

Maybe the coaching staff wasn't that impressed with Morrison in prospect and training camp so management didn't offer a contract. He was with the team for weeks they saw plenty of him during that time

I'm not gonna pretend I have seen LM play, but he just screams 'meh'. He's 30, playing against 17 year olds. Seems like a career minor league/Europe dude.

Logan if you're reading this, I hope we're cool. You're great. :pcheer:

It's one thing to have a glowup at 20 years old in the OHL. It happens all the time... but LM was nasty as a 19 year old too. Looking back through the last ~10+ years in the OHL- how many players have been near the top of OHL scoring and >1.50 ppg in back to back years without being drafted or signed to a pro contract? It just doesn't happen.

Sounds like you have another adoption on the horizon

What happened to Adam Masherin? I thought he was going to play in Italy or something, noticed he is back in the SHL and he can't produce shit. This dude really ruined his career pretty quickly and he was one more AHL season away from getting a couple NHL games in an injury callup, now he will be playing second-division European hockey next year at like $50,000 USD. Ouch.

Wasn't the plan for him to play in Italy long enough to be able to get an italian passport and be able to play for the italian national team in 2026 ? Guessing someone decided to not do that anymore. Not sure if it was him or someone in Italy . Eliteprospects now has him with Italian and Canadian nationality so maybe he didn't need to actually play in Italy at all ? We'll see
