Slafkovsky thread not on the 1st page? This is a disgrace! Clearly Habs fans don't deserve him! They should trade him to a team who's fans will treat them right!

:sarcasm:
Undefeated since suspended… Totally holding Dadonov, Armia and Drouin back.

The questions from the MTL are awful it hard to look good especially since he is 18 and English isn’t is first language but I think he need to be better prepared by the media team to stay on message because the same happen to Anderson

Ok well to be honest Slaf would get suspended for that initial hit, which was a dangerous crosscheck 6 feet from the boards. When will a spade be a spade.

this is nothing similar to what Slaf did. Slaf was behind, these two were side by side racing to the puck, col player pushed carolina's player on his lateral side. They were almost making eye-contact. Obviously a hard hit but a completly fair one.

Zero similarities whats so ever.

This was not a hit, it is a crosscheck.

Sorry, I meant to say crosscheck twice - the initial contact was a crosscheck.

Liked his game tonight. He had a couple nice shifts early in the game and was good on that late PP as well. I've been patient with the usage so far but I really hope they move him up the lineup soon, I think he's definitely ready.
His even strength usage is really starting to get frustrating, no doubt I would send him to the WJC if they have no intention to move him up the line-up.

I do wonder why they keep playing him on the 4th line. Are Dadonov and Drouin really helping drive secondary offence more than they believe Slafkofsky would? Or is it that Slafkovsky has the physique to play a 4th line energy role and the others don’t?

It will be interesting to see him play with more skilled players like Monahan or Anderson. I figure coaching must have a good reason to have him still there on the 4th line. Given that Lecavalier is an advisor and was in a similar situation in his first season, perhaps he didn’t get prime playing time either (which could explain his stats) and he could concentrate on other aspects of the game. Just speculating.

But I still prefer he plays more limited time on the 4th line than on the 3rd with Gallagher. They really don’t work together.
