You racked up 4Ls here aloneLike guys... he saw the numbers for 3 Mississippis and he followed through it while the player was in a very vulnerable spot.
I swear some of you would defend Mitchell Miller if he was a Hab.

Your post was misleading.Ls at what? lol
Where did I say it was a safe hit?
He got called for a major and he's got an audience with the league. he'll get a game or two and we'll all move on.
I'm not sure why you introduced Mitchell Miller into the discussion.
And then tell me i'm taking Ls?
You're making parallels with a guy making a bad hit in the heat of the action, with a lunatic who physically and racially abused a kid for years.
Get a hold of yourself man.
Wild world we live in
One of his most impressive moments was when he shot off the rush. It was wrist shot from 40 feet that the goalie just flinched at. The shot just overwhelmed him. If it was on, its a goal. This kid is going to be a beast. He had some nice moves thru the neutral zone first period I think. Wish there was a clip.
You missed 6, so I guess you racked up 10 total, check mate buddy. You racked up 4Ls here alone
MY post?Your post was misleading.
I wasn't, I said earlier the game misconduct was appropriate and I'd be surprised if there was more discipline coming. The parallel is that people are defending Slaf when it was pretty much a textbook stupid hit. I thought you were defending him some more.
The point is that Habs homer will defend anything wearing the tricolores.MY post?
Bro...you JUST made a parallel of people suggesting Slafkovksky's hit wasn't that severe to defending Mitchell Miller if he was a Hab.

He's apparently meeting with the league, so probably 1-3 games. While I think 3 is excessive, i've got no issues with a suspension either.
But WTF this got to do with Mitchell Miller?
Did Luff have to go get tested for an STD like that poor kid did after what Miller did to him?
I mean, I know he hit him hard...but wasn't THAT hard.
I get it...but maybe not the time to evoke that kind of parallel, especially given the currently developing story. The point is that Habs homer will defend anything wearing the tricolores.
I like the shock factorI get it...but maybe not the time to evoke that kind of parallel, especially given the currently developing story.
This was a hockey play gone bad....the other is, I can't even describe.
All good though, moving on.
This is just preliminary but as per a comment by the Wings’ coach, FWIW, they’re looking at an absence similar to Zadina’s for Luff — 6 to 8 weeks: Matt Luff Won’t Return to Red Wings’ Lineup Anytime SoonIf Luff is really injured that much he’ll get more than just a game. Seriousness of the injury is part of the disciplinary equation.
Questionable hit aside, Slaf had a very good shift with Monahan at one point in the game. It was good to see him having chemistry with more talented players.
This is an accurate assessment of the sorry incident. Let us hope that Slafkovsky had enough class/sportsmanship to contact Luff to express his regrets for a hockey play gone horribly bad.2 games it will be I think. Stupid move but kid is a specimen who’s still adapting to the league.
What I'm really enjoying about Slafkovsky's progress is I'm continuously reading the part I bolded. On a game by game basis. Just when we think he's played his best game. He continues to impress by stepping it up a little. You beat me too it. Lots of talk about the hit but I felt this was one of his better games last night.
Sadly that's the first thing I thought of after the hit.Hope this incident doesn’t bring the Latendresse Syndrome onto our kid. After hitting Rob Dimaio on a blindside check that ended the latter’s career practically, Latendresse was never the same in his physicality.

The other kid is out 10-12 weeks. Official. Broken wrist.
When do we meet the Wings again? Slaf will be challenged. Meaning he will have to defend himself and/or have his bodyguard 72 with him on the ice at all times.

I expected a bad concussion instead. There’s an element of bad luck in falling awkwardly and getting a broken wrist. Another similar hit to a different guy would not have the same consequences. The other kid is out 10-12 weeks. Official. Broken wrist.
