Here's a fact that we like to remember once each year in the WCVB newsroom: Weekend evening anchor Shaun Chaiyabhat's memorable cameo in "Groundhog Day."

Chaiyabhat fell into the arms of star Bill Murray in the 1993 film directed by Harold Ramis.

Had a tumor on a parathyroid gland. Causing calcium to be deposited in my lungs, arteries and heart.
Broken teeth and bones.

So out they came last week. Luckily not cancer. Now recuperating. Just cant do much since its all stitched on the inside.
