Who cares how much pound he is ? The important thing is that it's not slowing him and from what I saw at the rookie camp, it didn't slow him down so he will just be tougher to play against in the corners
You know whats terrible?lol yeah clearly.. so much fat on him in the pictures we've seen.
Just a terrible post.
His offseason weight is important, probably the most important thing in his development. He should come in heavier and heavier, thats how bulking works.Who cares how much pound he is ? Not having any understanding of science whatsoever.
Clearly Slafkovsky went from his 225 lbs and added 5% of his bodyweight in muscle in a month.
Ill give you the answer because I wouldn't expect a neckbeard to actually know anything about this, nah, even with a very healthy dose of Mikes Magic juice, he wouldnt even add that.
It is fat. No, it is not bad.
Your post and most of your post have been though, thanks for coming.

Maybe not 10+ pounds on opening camp but im pretty sure Slaf just relaxed after having the craziest months of his life.
Weight fluctuations is a thing, yes.I know enough to know that weight fluctuates consistently and making huge sweeping generalizations about what he did between one weight measurement and another is just stupid.
Unless you're competing in weight categories, you don't weigh yourself consistently when cutting weight or gaining muscle.. you use the mirror to tell you. We can use the ole mirror test to see that Slafkovsky is not anymore baby fat than he was the last time we saw him.
Weight fluctuations is a thing, yes.
It is not a 5%+ thing.
I weigh the same more or less than Slafkovsky and my weight fluctuates between 223-230 weekly, with most days being around 224-227.
He relaxed, he ate. Maybe he even partied a bit. Its fine.
The post I quoted quoted a post asking if it was all muscle.Yeah it's a complete non issue.. he might have gained some fat and some muscles as teenagers do, but when you look at him, this isn't Big Buff coming into camp clearly overweight.
You look at him on and off the ice and there's no hindrances plus no reasons to be concerned.
You are, have you tried Googling his Liiga stats1?1?1?1
hey he’s only .5 ppg lifetime at pre-season rookie practices tooIs Arpon aware of the Liiga stats tho?
Wont somebody PLEASE think of the Liiga stats!

Who cares how he looked like out there!![]()
Some of us suspect not enough dietary fibre and morning cofee.Honestly in my peak gym rat days at the age of 21 in Uni my weight would fluctuate between 195 and 205 so about 2.5%.
Now Slaf has a better diet/training than i did at my best. So let's say he only fluctuates 2%. That's about 4.6lbs, assuming 229 is his average. 238 could have been a heavy day and he has only gained 3.5lbs since the draft.

So what youre saying is that you made Joseph Kruger a billionaire.I know your meme-ing but I was a coffee fiend and my carbs in almost every lunch and dinner was a mix of Brown rice and Quinoa.
Do we assume hes smart enough?
How do you know?
Also, not going to harp about his weight here but he clearly laid back relaxed and ate his way out of Slovakia this summer. Not that its bad, he needs to put meat on those bones.
It’s funny we’re talking about this actually, my therapist told me if I was to manage my stress and sleep at night I had to stop after one cofee in the morning… Unless I train… I’ve been getting jacked up on dbl espressos and hitting the iron every morning for a month; I feel awesome!I know your meme-ing but I was a coffee fiend and my carbs in almost every lunch and dinner was a mix of Brown rice and Quinoa.
The same assumption were made for a lot of prospects and a few years later we somehow "learned" that they had x and y flaws that were somehow impossible for them to have.Mrb1p: Can you really assume he's smart enough?
Also Mrb1p: cLeArLy hE wAs ReLaXeD.
The post I quoted quoted a post asking if it was all muscle.
Maybe you could take your time next time and not tell me Im stupid, even if you have some kind of internet immunity![]()
Clearly thats what he did to gain 10%+ bodyweight, thats how thermodynamics works. The reason I called your post stupid was because you were making a sweeping statement that he just went back to Slovakia and ate, ate and got fat.

I’ll never look like Slaf though, man he must need a lot of chicken.

The sweeping assumption is that you assumed I said this to be negative. Slafkovsky is human like everyone else, he answers to the same laws as all of us.
Well, you may claim to be an expert in thermodynamics (which you ain't lol)Clearly thats what he did to gain 10%+ bodyweight, thats how thermodynamics works.

But not so great at math since adding 10% to 229 would be adding 23 lbs...
And I cant believe you say "clearly" btw lol like wow
LOL I mean, I lost 4 pounds between when I went to bed on Sunday evening and when I woke up on Monday morning... I can't imagine how much a pro hockey player's weight fluctuates over time with training, travelling, eating habits, etc.
Congrats! Your first wrong statement!Everybody is always wrong except it's me. I mean that.

So basically you agree with everything I said but cared enough to try to make me look bad because I didnt care to check his weight before and after and to actually put an accurate number.Adding 9lbs wouldn't even pass the dreaded 5%. He'd still be well within what can be explained by weight fluctuations. He likely gained some bad weight, which a lot of young players tend to do, but this thread just takes that assumption and runs with it with some asinine conclusions.
You love being that guy eh.Or from Chicago’s perspective: cutting a bust loose before he loses more value.

Im 5'11 3/4but you are 5'2 with little Trex arms, i've seen the pics.
