20% of Arizona's wins have come against us. Food for thought.
We did what we could against Vezina candidate Karel Vejmelka

There are other differences as well:
Eichel carries a $50 million commitment; Chychrun is $13.8 million
Eichel needed neck surgery and was demanding "his" version of the surgery; Chychrun is healthy
Arizona will get full price for him no doubt.

TBL will move one of Serg or Erik, unless you think they can pay Serg $8-9mill per, Cernak $6mill per and still have the ability to fill out their roster with the depth they need to continue being a contender??2 first, Byfield and Clarke? We better add 2 more firsts to that and shoot for McDavid then.
And stop with the Sergachev and Cernak pipe dreams. They aren’t being traded. Tampa will just ship out older wingers and hold onto their signed young defense group.
I'd do illegal things to get Sergy in LA.TBL will move one of Serg or Erik, unless you think they can pay Serg $8-9mill per, Cernak $6mill per and still have the ability to fill out their roster with the depth they need to continue being a contender??
Without the majority of their picks the next two seasons and a prospect pipeline that’s drier than a bucket of sand they don’t have many options…. unless they magically pull real players out of their ass, they’ll need to move one of them to continue their run and rebuild their depth..
What do you think of Provorov?I'd do illegal things to get Sergy in LA.

Hexy would just give us Provorov as he’s with Pittsburgh not Philly! What do you think of Provorov?
Signed long term with a damn good cap hit..
Philly looks like they’ll be starting a rebuild and maybe Hexy gives us a former employer discount lol
The TB tax logic works with guys like Kuch and Stammer, that’s not to say it won’t work for Serg.. all the things I’ve read about him and his upcoming contract are that he wants Jones/Werenski/Makar money.. will TB play the angle abslolutely, will it work.. who knowsSo if Tampa can pay Sergachev 8-9 that means it’ll be like 10 for the Kings plus having to trade for him. So you want to trade assets and then sign him to like 10mil for 8 years? No thank you.
Fudge… I remembered that after I typed it but was too lazy to edit lolHexy would just give us Provorov as he’s with Pittsburgh not Philly!
My wishlist would look something like:What do you think of Provorov?

Romanov would be a dream.. the kid is a monster! My wishlist would look something like:
1. Sergachev
2. Romanov
3. Provorov
4. Cernak
5. Chychrun
6. Dunn
Chychrun isn't worth either of those. Maybe I'm just not as high on him as others but I'd be pretty bummed of Blake made that move.I don't think there's any way the Coyotes accept a trade for Chychrun without Byfield or Clarke going the other way, which is why I don't think it'll happen.
Absolutely.Romanov would be a dream.. the kid is a monster!
If Sergachev really wants 8-9 million I think Chychrun at half that cost is a smarter move especially with Doughty signed for a while longerMy wishlist would look something like:
1. Sergachev
2. Romanov
3. Provorov
4. Cernak
5. Chychrun
6. Dunn
He reminds me so much of Darius KasparaitisAbsolutely.
Realistically he's probably just a #4 at the moment but he provides something so valuable that we don't have.
A young, physical, feisty, big hitter, that can actually skate and move the puck.
Within 2 years I see our left side set with Doughty, Clarke and Faber.. whose in the left is the question ??If Sergachev really wants 8-9 million I think Chychrun at half that cost is a smarter move especially with Doughty signed for a while longer
Doughty likes playing with Anderson so thats a good pair or Anderson - Faber as a 3rd shutdown pair is good too.Within 2 years I see our left side set with Doughty, Clarke and Faber.. whose in the left is the question ??
Xxxxx-Doughty
Xxxxx-Clarke
Xxxx-Faber
We have Anderson, Bjornfot, Walker, Roy(rhd), Spence(rhd), Grans(rhd), Durzi(rhd)… log jam
Let’s keep this logic because it’s really good..Doughty likes playing with Anderson so thats a good pair or Anderson - Faber as a 3rd shutdown pair is good too.
Its hard to say this early really. If they dont make the playoffs the picture will be more clear. I could see Doughty wanting out if they miss again. Hes a competitive guy and would do really well in a market like Toronto.
I do think Chychrun - Clarke is as good a pair as any in the league on paper…
Anderson - Doughty
X - Clarke
Bjornfot - Faber/Durzi/Grans/Spence
