Well Pierre is out of his mind knight shouldn’t be in the nhl at 19 but 21 very probable. By then he can come in and play with Bob. You need 2 goalies now

Toronto is going to have to trade Nylander

JG be like

I didn't think it was physically possible, but Kyle Dubas is working three phones simultaneously right now.

I am so happy the rangers did not take kaliyev...that dude looks like a serial killer in the making....signed my jersey but also looked like he wanted to eat my liver....

If he becomes a serial killer, your jersey will be worth something.

I never would have thought Kreider could return Nylander without an extension. Not saying it will happen, not even sure right wing is a need, but I think it's possible.

No one is helping dubas. I think everyone is waiting like a piranha. If an offersheet comes, watch out. They won't sign Kapanen or Johnson until the Marner deal is done because they can't get pushed too far past the cap. They have that Horton contract already pushing them past their regular season limit. If either guy wants to get bold, they can take advantage of Dubas' gamble to wait. Take an offersheet at close to $4.2m, maybe at a length that takes you right to UFA age, and the team loses a 2nd. That's already $1m roughly more than Dubas is offering.

Will they do it? I doubt it. But they will force Dubas into a bad trade. Pionk for Zaitsev would have been a steal at this point. It's funny how offersheet is taboo, despite compensation. But forcing a terrible trade, like that Marleau debacle, is sporting.

LHD depth with NHL potential is now:

Miller
Robertson
Skjei
Hajek
Rykov
Staal
Lindgren
Reunanen
Jones
Day
Ragnarsson

We need to build depth at other positions. This is getting crazy.

You don't have to draft your playoff roster. You can trade them later on. I like the area he choose to have depth.

They signed both of them today for a total of 6.6M.

Just as like a...mathematical exercise, can we fit Panarin and Nylander? Assuming no one wants any of the expensive defensemen, we keep most of the Namestnikov/Vesey level guys (gotta ice a team), and a deal with Toronto helps their cap more than ours

“Unfortunately, with seven rounds, we can’t get seven Kakkos,” general manager Jeff Gorton said.

Not with that attitude.

No, they have the deals fleshed out. Nothing is signed because he needs breathing room in case a bigger offersheet goes to Marner. He can't exceed the summer cap by more than 10% and Horton counts. Dubas is trying to take advantage of their deals being unsigned. But it could bite him if those two get tempted with their own offersheet.
