Of course he’s playing at traverse city. You sit the kid like he’s mr. glass. There’s no chance he isn’t at traverse cityNo, because he's already proven that he can play with men.

So Panarin is visiting Florida. But Bob also said that they likely prefer Bob to Breadman.
Wonder when we’re gonna check in on him. I can’t imagine Gorton not poking around at the very least.
I'm curious if us taking 2 more D high (1 of which is a high floor guy in Robertson) might be signifying that we are prepared to go out and try to add another young core forward...
Shatty, who was pretty bad in his first injury plagued season for the Rangers, was actually very good last year but his point totals were low due to abnormally low on-ice shooting percentage.
Getting rid of him for pennies on the benjamins this offseason would be a very short-sighted move. Just shift DeAngelo over to the left side (DeAngelo-Shattenkirk had an absurdly dominant game as a pairing against Buffalo) or let Fox develop in Hartford for a year.
Considering how many rumors there are of the Rangers trying to get rid of him I'm baffled that Dubas, who is definetely aware that Shattenkirk is still very good, hasn't pulled the trigger on a trade for Shatty at 50%. He is either waiting to sort out the cap crunch or hoping that the Rangers are dumb enough to buy him out so he can be signed even cheaper.
The Leafs have the largest analytics department in the league and the brass seem to listen well to them. The numbers show that Shatty had a very good season, unlike 2017-18 where he was rather poor but put up better scoring numbers.
I'm a Rangers fan and I really hope we don't do something stupid here, just keep him.
The NYR had an amazing draft so far. The entertainment value may not have been there since it happened over the last few months...but think about it:
Kakko at 2
No one at 20 would be a better add than Trouba
No one at 37 would be a better add than Fox
Kreider still being around is a bit concerning. I think re-signing him or letting him walk as an “own rental” would both be massive, massive mistakes. I get that you can’t make a trade pop out of thin air. But how many times do we think “hey maybe a team will trade for x after the UFA dust settles.” It doesn’t happen. Another long season of hemming and hawing seems most likely.
I'd expect that Marleau is getting bought out and it's possible the Rangers want to use that kind of dead cap space on someone already on the team.
I wish we had taken that on.
For those upset we didn't do the Marleau trade or something like it yet... keep in mind that the Rangers cap situation isn't as amazing as it seemed before this week.
They're at $64m right now.
Add $8 for Trouba, $4.5 for Buchnevich, $2m for DeAngelo, $2m for Lemieux and now you're at $80.5m.
Without moving someone else out, the Rangers can't really take anyone on.
I wish Gorton had done that Marleau deal...
I'm ready to move on from Names and take a "hope' pick.
Plenty of veteran UFAs who have a lot of playoff experience to mentor the kids.
Who would be willing to include K'andre Miller as the big main piece going the other way in a Nylander trade
I think I'd be okay with it if push came to shove
Ya, honestly, if I were the Panthers, I wouldn’t touch Bobrovsky on a deal any longer than 4 years. Knight is a f***ing stud, the dude may be ready to go pro by the end of next season (though I wouldn’t count on that). From a logical standpoint, yeah.
My only question is how much are they actually willing to commit to Bob and how much of an influence will Coach Q have?
They could easily sign Panarin and go after someone like Lehner for less years and dollars. It's hard to commit all that money and term to a goalie when you just drafted the best goaltending prospect in the last 7 years, maybe longer.

Alright. I have to share this. Today the management approached us on their way to the bus and I was in the process of taking a picture with a Rangers fan and Chris Drury when Drury says "Hey. Is that Statboy taking our picture?" And I'm just standing there thinking "so it's not just Bobrov" and at that moment Bobrov walks towards us and I thank him for what he said yesterday to which he says "no. Thank you for all the work you put in. We all notice. You represent the Rangers fan base with everything you do"
What do I say to that? This is crazy. Ask @Inferno

As soon as he’s allowed. You can be sure Gorton will call the agentSo Panarin is visiting Florida. But Bob also said that they likely prefer Bob to Breadman.

Thats not a gap that can't be bridged.
LHD depth with NHL potential is now:
Miller
Robertson
Skjei
Hajek
Rykov
Staal
Lindgren
Reunanen
Jones
Day
Ragnarsson
We need to build depth at other positions. This is getting crazy.
Yeah, and I mean, they will just keep pilling up because there are so many of them out there. Still, if you have someone that probably easily could have gone 30+ spots earlier (I like Robertson more than Harley), it’s hard to pass up. But I just think it’s something to pay attention too for sure. Otherwise you will stand there with 15 LDs in the system to which you have 1-2 comparable RWs. Is that good? Of course not.
That's $1M with no state income tax in Texas. $5M per? The cap being set at $81.5M doesn't help Zuccarello. Hanzal is done. Dallas can spend to the upper limit and put Hanzal($4.75M) on LTIR. They have most of their players signed. I read they may have an interest in Stralman. They need a righty D.
So many of the other teams are already pressed up against the cap with their own key young group II's to sign.
They are just people like yoh and I , doing really cool jobs.Alright. I have to share this. Is Kakko untouchable if McDavid or MacKinnon are incoming?Ya Miller is untouchable for me unless McDavid or MacKinnon are incoming
Is Kakko untouchable if McDavid or MacKinnon are incoming?![]()
He won’t and better not!!!!!No. Miller doesn't go anywhere.
Mats Zuccarello is going to test free agency and meet with other teams. The Stars have found issues with both his asking price per year and the length of the deal he’s looking for. Kevin Hayes’ recent contract with the Philadelphia Flyers (seven years, $50 million) certainly doesn’t help matters for Dallas.
Zuccarello’s camp is looking for a large payday, which is understandable for a 32-year-old entering what is likely the final contract of his career. It’s believed Dallas looks at Zuccarello as a player worth $5 million per season, while Zuccarello has visions of $6 million or more.
The question becomes — and this is something the Stars will likely bring up in this game of chicken — what type of team can really give Zuccarello $6 million or more?
If a contender is willing to offer that type of coin to Zuccarello, he’s likely gone. Winning is reportedly important to Zuccarello, so he’s going to have a decision to make based on what fits and what doesn’t for his long-term prospects.
