Watching Day skate is hilarious.

He literally looks like he is playing with no urgency whatsoever but meanwhile he just skating through or pulling away from everyone.

Yup. Some fans will always question if he is not trying to get to full speed.

Didn't someone just say that the Windsor announcer said something like, "And there goes Sean Day skating back for that puck as fast as he has to."

That combo of size, speed, and hands is remarkable.

More like "only as fast as he needs to". It sounded a little tongue-in-cheek exactly noting how nonchalant he seems because of how he skates.

Here is the goal Morrison just scored. The goal was ALL Morrison. PG loses the face-off, but Morrison shoots forward and grabs control of the puck. He then fends off Portland players along the boards and gets it back to the point. Finally, he buries the rebound.

Windsor up 3-1 on London with a little more than 5 minutes left in the second. Day has two assists, with one of them on the PP.

The AHL will really tell fans of this team what Day will become. He's going to have to play a lot harder and skate a lot harder game in and game out in the AHL compared to juniors. Of course, the Pack blow mostly because their coach has no clue how to develop offensive players. It should be a priority to fire him and hire a coach with some imagination offensively.

An interesting bit of info:

Memory tells me we've been a lot more heavy-handed in the WHL, Euro, and USNTDP of late. Could be wrong, haven't run the #s.

Er, I count 3.

Halvy, Day, Gettinger.

USNTDP - 3
US HS - 3
WHL - 9
QMJHL - 5
Euro - 10
BCHL - 1
OHL - 3
GOJHL - 1

He was tweeting about skaters, Halverson is a goalie.

2011:
JT Miller (USNTDP)
Steven Fogarty (USHL)
Michael St. Croix (WHL)

Sam Noreau (QMJHL)
Peter Ceresnak (Slovak Jr)

2012:
Brady Skjei (USNTDP)
Boo Nieves (USHL)
Calle Andersson (SuperElit)
Thomas Spelling (Superisligaen)

2013:
Adam Tambellini (BCHL)
Pavel Buchnevich (KHL)
Anthony Duclair (QMJHL)
Ryan Graves (QMJHL)
Mackenzie Skapski (WHL)

2014:
Brandon Halverson (OHL)
Keegan Iverson (WHL)
Ryan Mantha (USHL)
Igor Shestyorkin (MHL)
Richard Nejezchleb (WHL)
Daniel Walcott (QMJHL)
Tyler Nanne (MSHSL)

2015:
Ryan Gropp (WHL)
Robin Kovacs (Allsvenskan)
Sergei Zborovskiy (WHL)
Aleksi Saarela (Liiga)
Brad Morrison (WHL)
Daniel Bernhardt (SuperElit)
Adam Huska (USHL)

2016:
Sean Day (OHL)
Tarmo Reunanen (TPS Jr.)
Tim Gettinger (OHL)
Gabriel Fontaine (QMJHL)
Tyler Wall (GOJHL)
Ty Ronning (WHL)

But the Rangers did sign 3 OHL free agents during this period:

2012 Michael Kantor -- Sudbury
2012 Tommy Hughes -- London
2013 Troy Donnay -- Erie

This suggests that it may have been less of a bias against the OHL and just who was available at their selection.
