Ugh. 14 seconds in to the game Seattle scores and Gropp would have had an assist...but they called a high stick on Kolesar and called it "No Goal". Didn't look like a high stick to me, but they didn't even review it.

Kolesar just scored for real. Gropp with an assist. 1-0 Seattle.

Gropp-True-Kolesar looks really good....just as they did at the end of the season.

Gropp you beauty! Rebound off an Ethan Bear slapshot came out to the left circle. Gropp grabbed it and used his patented wrister to rip it into the net. It was a PP goal.

2-0 Seattle. Gropp 1G 1A +1

I was looking at the Windsor/ London game summary how does Day get 1 assist go +3 on the night with 7 shots as a defenseman and not get 1 of the 3 stars for the game. 2 players from London were among the 3 stars of the game. Guess the homer thing is alive and well in the OHL.

I don't think Day deserved a star, but the stars they picked were messed up, I agree.

The guy who scored the winning goal for Windsor had 2 goals on the night and won the game. How is he not first star? And the other 2 Windsor goals were scored by Aaron Luchuk...and he doesn't get a star at all? Then they give first star to a guy on London who has 1G and 1A and third star to a London guy who has 1G???? I don't really get it, lol.. But who cares...as long as Windsor wins.

CHL favors the Knights. Its like the NHL with the Hawks.

Gropp passed it to a Tri-City player just now, resulting in a breakaway. Gropp caught up a little and hacked him...resulting in a penalty shot. Fortunately, Stankowski made a big save. Tri-City has had 4 breakaways this period. Seattle winning 3-2 halfway through the 3rd.

No goal. High sticked on the original deflection and then tucked in.

Probably should have been a goal, but :dunno:

Lowell up 1-0 ~6.5 minutes into reg.

BTW, noticed during the review of the earlier Cornell goal, the refs have bigger screens than NHL refs have.

Gropp has scored so many goals from the left wing face off circle. He is shooting across his body. That's not an easy shot.

Lowell up 3-0 with ~5.5 minutes left in the second, but I think that third goal was too much man.
