From hero to zero in 24 hours  Well, they were probably thinking that after the lucky win against Sweden, which happened mainly thanks to Huska, the game against USA would be something easy or what. Well deserved slap right into the face.

Decent showing from the Latvian team today, they were trailing by just 1 goal in the 3rd and were on the PP with (probably) some scoring chances, considering they had a whole bunch of shots on goal in a short time span.

Can't really tell much without any streams available.

But, anyway, I'll take 33 shots on goal against the Czechs as a positive.

Probably not a whole lot of chances to get points against Finland, but the game against the Swiss should be a good one.

FIN-SUI, 1-0 Finland after about 7 minutes of play. Puljujarvi put in a beauty with some help from Laine :handclap:

The Swiss have a very impressive team. They all skate well and play a very responsible two-way game.

Malgin is a very skilled player and I think Swiss can make some damage this year.

It's crazy how Laine can get into scoring positions despite his awful skating. 2 shots from between the face-off dots and a breakaway in the third period alone.

When you're big, it doesnt look the same..
Ever see Mario Lemieux skate? Clumsy as hell, but he was never slow despite it lookng bad.
