The line up for Boston Calling was quite similar last year, I think. Lorde is one of their headliners this year and today's clue, a KC Royals hat, leads me to believe she'll be a headliner for Folk 2014. Riot Fest is going on in Toronto around the same time too so there could be a few similar from their line up.

Bought tickets for The Book of Mormon, playing at the NAC in July. Pretty stoked.

The National would be great.

I'm seeing Lorde at Osheaga, so that's not as exciting but she is an incredible young talent that would be great to see in a much more intimate setting like Folk fest.

I like Lorde, but man does she ever sound like Lana Del Rey to me (who I tend to prefer)

Gonna be hard for FF to top last years line up. Highly doubt they will land someone like Neil Young again, but heres hoping!

So this week was really the first time I "studied" the daily Bluesfest schedule.

Planning for maybe three nights. I still can't believe the lineup for the first Saturday. 20+ acts total that day, and other than Lady Gaga, I think I've heard of three others. Don't think I've come across that very often for a festival date. And found QOTSA not being the headliner for a day kind of strange.

Some pretty good acts announced for NAC Presents this year for anyone that missed it. Sarah McLachlan, Buck 65, Gordon Lightfoot, Timber Timbre and Owen Pallett some of those that I noticed/recognized.

Soul Jazz Orchestra never get the love they deserve from Ottawa

Check them out people! They are fantastic (and great people too!)

The Gaslight Anthem is the answer to today's Folkfest headliner clue. The headliners, therefore, are Lorde, Serena Ryder, Neutral Milk Hotel, and The Gaslight Anthem. I was hoping for The National.

The War on Drugs, though, announced today their fall tour, which includes playing at Folkfest.

Still a fair amount of acts to be added so who knows.

Glad to hear about the War on Drugs. Been a fan of theirs for a few years now.

Now I just have to count out my pennies so this can all go down the right way.

Eric Church is returning to Ottawa on his Outsiders World Tour. Tickets went on sale today, show not until mid-November.

If you've missed The Black Keys in the last couple times they've come to Ottawa, the closest they come on their tour this year is Montreal in mid-September.

I think you got your wish. Clue today was a picture of Peter Mansbridge. So I figure that meant the National..
