Aerosmith, Bryan Adams, Collective Soul, Slash etc. are all in Kitchener on the weekend of July 11-13. Some of those could overlap with Bluesfest.

Not bad.

Lady Gaga would be interesting. She's pretty much the go to example for me when I think of music that I don't enjoy but completely appreciate the talent. I would never bother to buy tickets to her show but if I have a pass to the festival, I'd check it out.

Over the moon about the Killers though. That's gonna be fantastic.

It's a brand name, so of course they need to call it Bluesfest.

They have the schedule on the website. Looks like it's $99 pick 3 for me. No more paper tickets this year means no passport for me. It was so great keeping 6 days and selling the balance to friends. Oh well, I get why they've retired that.

Did they get rid of the tickets for the Empire Grill area? I remember last year they were going to and backed out at the last second.

I was able to get empire grill tickets on the day of the shows on kijiji for less than the general admission pass last year. Hopefully they do that again..

Haha. Makes me laugh every time. If people haven't figured out that it's a brand name by now, they never will.

Overall there's acts for everyone in this year's Bluesfest.

I forgot about this. I thought for sure we'd get Beck for Jazzfest or Bluesfest as he is in Montreal at the end of June. Could still happen.

I like that there is a wide range of different music, and was super pumped to see The Killers and QOTSA lined up. The big indie band surprise for me was July Talk who i just missed late last summer and did not see on my inital sneak peek a few weeks ago!

edit: Jake Bugg is pretty cool as well i have been enjoying his newer tracks.
