Eh. Most of that list doesn't really entice me.

But I will never pass up a chance to see Queens of the Stone Age.

Lady Gaga?

Do they really need to call it bluesfest anymore?

Not bad.

Lady Gaga would be interesting. She's pretty much the go to example for me when I think of music that I don't enjoy but completely appreciate the talent. I would never bother to buy tickets to her show but if I have a pass to the festival, I'd check it out.

Over the moon about the Killers though. That's gonna be fantastic.

They have the schedule on the website. Looks like it's $99 pick 3 for me. No more paper tickets this year means no passport for me. It was so great keeping 6 days and selling the balance to friends. Oh well, I get why they've retired that.

Did they get rid of the tickets for the Empire Grill area? I remember last year they were going to and backed out at the last second.

I was able to get empire grill tickets on the day of the shows on kijiji for less than the general admission pass last year. Hopefully they do that again..

I always wonder if people who complain about the 'Bluesfest' name also complain about such things as a place called 'Burger King' serving french fried potatoes.

Not bad at all.

Still though, I'm probably just gonna hit QOTSA on July 8, and then go to Osheaga.

That is the worst group of headliners in their history but there's some good stuff outside of that.

Killers
St Vincent
Tyler, the Creator
Jeff Tweedy
Cypress Hill
Deltron 3030
Tokyo Police Club
Blondie
Royal Canoe
Sam Roberts
Phantogram
Queens of the Stone Age

is what interests me. Too many days where there's only one act that interests me, so I might just do 3 days and volunteer.

I like that there is a wide range of different music, and was super pumped to see The Killers and QOTSA lined up. The big indie band surprise for me was July Talk who i just missed late last summer and did not see on my inital sneak peek a few weeks ago!

edit: Jake Bugg is pretty cool as well i have been enjoying his newer tracks.
