The cutlass was present in the 06 edition of Bluesfest. The 2 hints in there are 26 (twenty-six) and 2006 Bluesfest.

EDIT: Rihanna might make sense, since she is 26 and was there in '06

i was at that show, though at a side stage (i can't stand Rihanna), and the Ottawa Sun tore her show to pieces the next day.

Few other Osheaga acts I'd love to see at Bluesfest... Outkast(I can dream, right?), Childish Gambino, J. Cole, Half Moon Run, Danny Brown, Hey Rosetta, Manchester Orchestra

He has a gap in his schedule between Toronto June 22 and Switzerland July 10. Though I doubt he'll end up at Bluesfest, I really hope he does.

Childish Gambino and Manchester Orchestra would be awesome, too.

I believe so, yeah. I was told 6 weeks or so ago now that the week of March 17th was the target date.

I do think we'll only get a partial release though.

I have heard the initial release date was the 19th but has now been pushed back to the 26th of March for what it's worth

you sure on that one? i think the hints would definitely make sense, but they're touring europe all summer. in denmark up til mid-june, then they're in the czech republic mid-august, so there's definitely a big gap, but would just seem weird to go from europe to canada, and back? Don't get me wrong, absolutely hope you're right, and not trying to be a debbie downer, but just seems like it doesn't fit with the tour dates on their website.

Yeah, I saw Lou Gramm last summer in Navan and it was great. This is going to be Foreigner without their famous voice and song writer so I dunno. The seem to be on tour with Styx (also missing their iconic lead singer) and Don Felder, a session guitarist for The Eagles.

I really hope they come. I saw them in Montreal when they were touring for the Lullabies to Paralyze album and they were amazing.

Ouch! That is not a good start.... for me anyway. The only band I would even consider going to see is Sly and The Family Stone.

You couldn't even pay me to watch Lady Antebellum.

Same. If the QOTSA rumour is true, I'm happy to see them, but not much else of the rumoured stuff. Jenny Lewis I suppose. Still many, many bands and artists to come though.
