Omfg. My passport is supposed to be arriving here soon and I think I'm going to be heading to Quebec as my first stop haha.

That's a better lineup than Riot Fest and I thought that was the best festival lineup I've ever seen. That's reminiscent to the Warped Tour in the 90's before it went to ****.

Alkaline Trio
NOFX
Lagwagon
Streetlight Manifesto
Gaslight Anthem
Reel Big Fish
Face to Face
Strung Out
Anti-Flag
88 Fingers Louie (seem to be reuniting quite frequently...awesome)
The Vandals
The Casualties

Also that's gotta be awkward with Danzig there as well as the Misfits haha.

I'll point out that Reset is doing a reunion show, which is the original band of some of the guys from Simple Plan. Not a fan of either.

Also awkward... Henry Rollins and Black Flag

has anyone been to this? i hear the organization is a **** show?

I know last year they had some major problems with over crowding and not enough washrooms and the such.

They have vowed this year that they learned a lot of lessons last year and that it will be completely different.

They brought in better organizers that have experience with these big festivals.

I saw H2O open, and New Found Glory the same night when they did a split headline with Alkaline Trio this past year. I haven't liked NFG since I was like 14 years old, but they are super fun to see live. They bring a huge amount of energy...almost makes up for the lead singers voice haha.

I'm not a fan of H20, but they had a good amount of people there as they've been around forever.

Still on my must see list are NOFX and Anti-Flag. I've had friends tell me NOFX is a little sloppy live, but well worth it for the atmosphere. It's like a big party when they are on stage.

I'm seeing Against Me here in a couple weeks. Should be interesting to see post....transformation haha.

This will be my fourth year in a row attending Rockfest. In the span of three years it has grown to be a pretty massive event, last year especially. The organizers definitely dropped the ball last year as it was a complete $hitshow, literally. I was almost ready to never attend again but as a lot of these bands were my youth and with the promoter vowing that things will be different this year, ill be back in Montabello.

Having seen NOFX live 3 times, yes they do get quite sloppy on stage. Fat Mike likes his booze and he is usually half into 'er when they get up there. But like you say, its a party that the whole crowd gets into. Good times!
