If got it right Weal and Shore will still be with the Kings organisation but what about Dowd?
I know a lot of teams in Europe that are looking for players to strengthen their roster.

Also, Mike Richards going to SHL?

Dowd should get a shot at proving he can play in the NHL but Richards would be a pretty good player in the SHL. He should give it some thought.

IMO, Dowd will be a bit better player overall than Shore.

He'll be a fine 3rd-line C for us in 2 years or less.
Dude has smarts, speed and heart aplenty.

He'll make it. No problemo.
JMO.

Been rumors about a player from Monarchs going to Linköping in SHL and I had my money om Dowd but from the looks of it, it seems that he got a chance of making it to NHL. Guess will see next week, should be announced then.

Rumor about Andrew Ebbett going to Europe.
Any rumor about who's shown interest?
Heard some rumors about Gabriel Dumont might be going to Sweden.
Been hearing rumors about Cory Emmerton going to Sweden.
Any rumors about Crus Rydberg for next season?

There's a rumor Linköping is gonna sign Hugh Jessiman at the end of this week.

I am still bummed about the lost possibilities

But hey, don't worry ----The Kings will be getting a steady diet of Kyle Connor when we play Arizona in 2 years, maybe less.

If Kyle turns out to be a superstar, we are going to be reminded of not drafting him again and again,
over the years.
Corey Perry, all over again.
:naughty:

Then he'll get traded when he's 25 or so a couple years from FA.

It's no surprising news. It was reported months ago by The Mayor with a direct quote from Futa I believe that Prokhorkin no longer fit into their plans. He's also regressed in his development, so I can see why the Kings don't want to waste their time with him.

The more things change the more they stay the same.

I would stay clear of drafting Russian players unless they are already over here playing junior and/or are free of any control by a KHL team.

Voynov was great because the Kings were able to get him to Manchester as an 18 year old.

Meh, has to be more an attitude/money thing. Even if he regressed off 2 seasons ago he is still worth a shot in Ontario.

Detroit and Anaheim of late always take Europeans and somehow end up hitting home runs with their picks.

I'd actually hope for Dean to take more chances for Europeans and go for a home run. Also for our Prospects if we never give them a chance they won't develop and succeed. Hoffman was given a chance got 48 pas this year. Klingberg looking like a steal. Chicago, Tampa Bay n Anaheim pgive their youngsters lots of coppportunities to succeed. Have to start giving youngsters more of a chance. The game is changing to more speed and skill n finesse .

Looks like Alexander Dergachyov is staying in Russia for next season: KHL website lists him at SKA team roster with contract running until 30-th of April, 2016. By the way, his measurements have also been updated and he is now listed at 6'5" and 220 lbs.

Dergachyev had his first goal of the season for SKA St. Petersburg on 9/10. I guess he's staying in Russia this year.

Even though his future with the Kings organization is dubious at best Prokhorkin was traded from CSKA to Ufa Salavet Yulaev and has 4 points (1g, 3a) in 7 games.

Dubious? How so?

And it's SKA St. Petersburg, not Moscow.

Sorry, got CSKA and SKA mixed up even though I got it right later ;)

Dubious as in he has stayed in the KHL despite having the opportunity to come to the AHL with his contract ending.
